WoW Retribution Paladin
The revamp of the Retribution Paladin increased the enjoyment that players get from playing the Paladin class. The Retribution Paladin does a good amount of damage and is able to heal himself. His new ability, Art of War, allows him to use an instant Flash of Light whenever he scores a critical hit with Crusader Strike, Divine Storm or Judgment. Additionally the Paladin's Judgment will restore mana for anyone in his group or raid by providing the Replenishment buff for up to 10 group- or raid members. The Paladin himself will receive a whopping 15% of his base mana whenever he uses a Judgment. The new ability Divine Storm will hit up to four enemies in melee range and heal friendly targets for up to 20% of the damage caused. This makes the Retribution Paladin a great supporter for any raid group he joins. The new talents not only improved the Paladin's PvE performance, but he now is a force to be reckoned with in PvP. An achievement like "The Grim Reaper" is now within the realm of the possible things to achieve as a Retribution Paladin. The Retribution Paladin has changed from a support character to a serious damage dealer as the Paladin community has always dreamed of. Divine Shield is no longer the signature ability and has lost some of its appeal, but it is no longer the necessary crutch, especially not in 1 on 1 combat. Wrath of the Lich King gave Paladin's the chance to proof their worth.
